Two layer pocket

As you know, the pocket is made of cardboard or plastic. But to make the pockets more durable, they are made up of two- layer, three layer or multiple layers. Two-layer pocket is resistant to moisture, which increases the life of the product. Due to its beautiful structure and material, two-layer pockets attract customer attention to the product and eventually encourage them to purchase the product. It can be made in the way that can be reused after opening (for example, considering zip for that). Two-layer pocket is inexpensive and has less space than other packaging methods (packaging in aluminum containers, cans, glass and plastic). See our more samples here.

Two-layer pocket can be used for packaging of dried fruits and nuts, legumes, processed meat products and half-baked food, vegetables, dairy products, chocolate and confectioneries, powder and flour materials such as spices, pickles, tea and coffee, all kinds of pills and food supplements, dental floss, toothpicks, hygienic cotton, blood bags, gauze and sterile bandages, disposable gloves, operating room equipment, detergent powder, various fertilizers and pesticides, industrial powders and plant seeds, car industrial parts, electronic components, welding electrodes and underwear, blankets, children's puzzles and toys with tiny parts, artistic tools and so on.

Two layer polyethylene pocket

Two-layer pockets and three-layer pockets are used in various industries for packaging. Manufacturing technology of polyethylene pockets is such that the inner layer of the polyethylene-polyester  two-layer pockets is food grade, its outer layer is polyester and 12 microns. To print on this type of  pocket, just apply the outer layer and the back side of it to be printed and laminated by the inner layer.

Note that the thickness of the polyethylene layer can vary from 70 to 200 microns. If you intend your customers to see part of your product (for example, dried fruit), it is good to use this kind of packaging pocket. By doing so, you will gain your customers trust and show them that you are not afraid to show the quality of your products. However, it should be noted that reaching the light to the product, does not damage it; otherwise, the double-layer polyethylene pocket will not have any use to you. It's interesting to know that three-layer pockets are made with almost identical technology to double-layer pockets. But there is a middle layer or metalized polyester in the inner layer.  See our more samples here.

Moreover, these pockets are not transparent, like double-layer pockets, and are suitable for products that light has a destructive effect on them. So it's good to get advice from a food industry specialist and a designer about choosing the right pocket type.
